Loved the game, would be really great if you could have a small speed boost so that you could travel back faster or go further a bit faster.
A small introduction, a text on what you need to do would really help first timers. But playing the game for the second time was really enjoyable once I understood all of the mechanics!
Agreed, tutorial is a must. I'll try to put that in soon
The combat felt pretty impactful and satisfying. The ship movement felt pretty good as well. Wish there was more audio feedback for when you run out of bullets and have to reload (took me a while to realise that's why my gun stopped shooting).
Blasting the enemy ships under pressure was definitely the best part of the game! Wish a bigger chunk of time during the wave was spent doing that and less doing the mining. Though I suppose that's just personal preference.
Difficulty might need some adjustment IMO. Felt like the real fun only began at wave 4. Rounds 1-3 were a bit of a snooze fest in comparison. Not sure if it was my inability to mine effectively or just poor upgrade decisions, but wave 5 was absolutely brutal. Almost impossible! Perhaps the game should start more intense (wave 3/4 difficulty) and build up in difficulty more gradually?
The upgrade system seems like a nice touch! Would love to see more interesting options rather than just sraight up increase of stats.
Hope that the above doesn't come across too negative, as I've enjoyed playing it! The game has promise and I'll be keeping an eye on future updates.
Best of luck to you and keep up the good work!
Thank you for the feedback!
